A method and a device are provided for at least partially compensating nonlinear effects of a system comprising the steps of (i) evaluating a model of the system, (ii) determining an inverse model of the system by processing an iterative inverting method, said inverting method comprising a convergence check, (iii) substantially compensating the nonlinear effects of the system by said inverse model of the system.
