THE METHOD FOR REALIZING CALL FAILURE NOTIFICATION AND NETWORK SWITCHING EQUIPMENT THEREOF

A method for realizing call failure notification is disclosed, and the method includes: determining the call to the called party can not be picked up; determining the information of calling party is not permitted to provide to the called party, then sending the call notification message which does not include the information of calling party to the called party. A network switching equipment is also disclosed, and the equipment includes: call relay module, for determining if the call to the called party can be picked up, when it is not picked up, notifying the failure information to call notification module; the call notification module, when received the call failure information, for determining not permit to provide the information of calling party to the called party and then sending the call notification message without the information of calling party to the called party. As a result, it avoids the situation that whenever in the service of trigger call failure notification, it will always provide the calling party information to the called party, and then the privacy of the calling party information and the service flexibility are all enhanced.
