The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical in the form of daily doses, containing an active ingredient combination comprising a hormone combination having a contraceptive effect, consisting of at least one estrogen, selected from the group consisting of estradiol and ethinyl estradiol, and at least one gestagen, selected from the group consisting of chlormadinone acetate, 3-ß-OH-chlormadinone acetate, 3-α-OH-chlormadinone acetate, 3-α-acetoxy-chlormadinone acetate, and 3-ß-acetoxy-chlormadinone acetate, and at least one insulin sensitizer, and which are combined into a pharmaceutical form using daily doses, containing only one insulin sensitizer as the only active ingredient, and to the use of said pharmaceutical form as prophylaxis against, or as a therapy for pathological disorders caused by the polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and simultaneously for contraception.
