REACTIVE PREPOLY(SILOXANE-URETHANE) AND SOLVENT-FREE REACTIVE POLY(SILOXANE-URETHANE) EMULSION PREPARED THEREFROM

摘要

In present invention, a reactive prepoly(siloxane-urethane) was synthesized through bulk polymerization using reactive organosilicon, isocyanate, polyether, hydrophilic monomer etc as raw materials, then a highly stable poly(siloxane-urethane) emulsion was prepared through phase inversion emulsification without any organic solvent; this emulsion can be crosslinked quickly with the evaporation of moisture at ambient temperature to form latex film with excellent properties. The inventive process has some advantages such as low capital investment for the equipments, simple procedure and low production cost, and the obtained emulsion can be widely used in fields such as the production of environmental friendly waterborne sealing gums and waterborne paints as well as leather processing, paper making, textile finishing etc.
