Provided is a technique capable of confirming a user's behavior performed at a place of his moved destination. This apparatus relates to a method for recording behavior and is characterized in that from a past behavior database wherein behavior information relating to behaviors which have been performed by the user in the past and positional information indicating positions where the behaviors have been performed are correlated with each other, positional information indicating a position to be recorded is searched; when the positional information on a position of the subject to be recorded is not obtained by the search based on the past behavior database, an inquiry is made to the user about a behavior performed at the position to be recorded; and behavior information inputted for the inquiry is recorded in the behavior record.
