Guide for creating femoral tunnel during ACL reconstruction

A guide (100) for positioning a guide wire (30) on a femur to allow a tunnel to be formed in the femur along the guide wire (30) is provided. The guide (100) includes an elongated body (110) having proximal (125) and distal ends (105), and a distal tip formed on the distal end of the elongated body, the distal tip (105) having a diameter substantially similar in size to the diameter of the desired resultant femoral tunnel, wherein the elongated body (110) and the distal tip (105) are cannulated to receive the guide wire (30).
