A method for preparing the Rehmannia glutinosa salt, and the Rehmannia glutinosa salt prepared by the method are provided to obtain the useful function such as the treatment of pruritus and diabetes. A method for preparing the Rehmannia glutinosa salt comprises the steps of adding 5-6 parts by weight of water to 1-2 parts by weight of Rehmannia glutinosa and heating it at 90-95 deg.C for 2-3 hours to obtain an extract of Rehmannia glutinosa; adding a salt component to the extract of Rehmannia glutinosa and heating it to concentrate it; cooling the concentrated one to crystallize it, thereby obtaining sa and drying the obtained salt.
