A method for preparing electrolyte membranes bonded with a sulfate group is provided to control the property of the membranes and to reduce the methanol permeation to the level of 1/10 Nafion. A method for preparing electrolyte membranes bonded with a sulfate group by using an organic solvent drying method comprises the steps of dissolving the dry poly ether ketone in the methylsulfuric acid solution; diluting the sulfuric acid solution in the solution of a prior step to adhere the sulfuric acid groups; precipitating, filtering and washing the obtained material; dissolving the washed material in the organic solvent; and solidifying the obtained solution.
