PREPARING METHODS OF S-NAPROXEN ETHYL ESTER FROM RACEMIC NAPROXENN

A method for separating S-naproxen ethyl ester from racemic naproxen is provided to obtain high yield of S-naproxen ethyl ester within a short time by applying optimal temperature and pressure for a lipase enzyme reaction under a supercritical condition to a separation process. A method for separating S-naproxen ethyl ester from racemic naproxen comprises the following steps of: adding water to S-naproxen ethyl ester and dispersing the S-naproxen ethyl ester using ultrasonic wave; adding ethanol and i-octane to the S-naproxen ethyl ester-dispersed water and dispersing the mixture using the ultrasonic wave; charging a reaction cell with the mixture and lipase to be esterified using an enzyme reaction under a supercritical condition; and separating S-naproxen ethyl ester from the esterified product.
