A biopolymer/apatite nano composite and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to promote osteogenesis by binding a biopolymer with a calcium phosphate thin film formed by electron-beam evaporation. A method for manufacturing a biopolymer/apatite nano composite comprises the following steps of: depositing calcium phosphate on a substrate through electron-beam evaporation and heat-treating them to manufacture a calcium phosphate thin film; preparing a DPBS solution by dissolving Dulbecco phosphate buffer solution and CaCl2 in a de-ionized water; adding biopolymers to the prepared DPBS solution in order to obtain biopolymer-containing DPBS solution; and immersing the calcium phosphate thin film in the biopolymer-containing DPBS solution such that the biopolymer can be immobilized on the calcium phosphate thin film.
