A malfunction determination method of an intake manifold turning valve is provided to prevent the false determination of the intake manifold turning valve because the current, target angle and the error of the actual transfer angular applied to the intake manifold turning valve are included. A malfunction determination method of an intake manifold turning valve comprises the steps of: a step(S14) which re-determines whether excessive current is supplied to the intake manifold turning valve or not; a step(S15) which determines whether the error between the actual transfer angular and a target angle of the intake manifold turning valve is within a specific range or not when excessive current is supplied; and a step(S21) which applies 20% current of the current applied to the motor of the intake manifold turning valve and moving the intake manifold turning valve and re-operating the moved intake manifold turning valve after pausing 2 seconds when error between the actual transfer angle and the target angle of the intake manifold turning valve are within a specific range.
