COMPOSITION OF NEW HERB MEDICINE FOR ANTI-CANCER AND ANTI-CHEMOTHERAPY SIDE EFFECT ACTIVITIES

摘要

An oriental medicine composition having anticancer activity and inhibition effect of side effect of anticancer drug is provided to decrease the toxicity of liver and kidney by administration of anticancer drug and increase anticancer activity. An oriental medicine for suppressing the toxicity of liver and kidney by the administration of anticancer drug comprises 10-15 wt.pt. of Astragali Radix, 5-10 wt.pt. of ginseng, 5-10 wt.pt. of hoelen, 5-10 wt.pt. of Atractylodis Rhizoma alba, 5-10 wt.pt. of Polygonati Rhizoma, 5-10 wt.pt. of Dolichoris Semen, 5-10 wt.pt. of Discoreae Rhizoma and 10-15 wt.pt. of Coicis Semen. The amount of administration of the oriental medicine composition is 5-20 mg/kg. The anticancer drug is cisplatin.
