A secondary side stator structure of a linear propulsion system for a railway vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve efficiency and thrust by forming a secondary side conductive plate of a linear induction motor into an embedded type. A secondary side stator structure includes a secondary side core(32) and a secondary side conductive plate. The secondary side core comprises an inner core(322) and an outer core(323). A plurality of slots is formed on a top part of the inner core into a width direction. The outer core is arranged in both sides of the inner core. A top surface of the outer core is not higher than a bottom surface of the inner core. The secondary side conductive plate is formed in a slot of the inner core by aluminum die casting. The secondary side core and the secondary side conductive plate are integrally formed. The secondary side conductive plate is made of copper or aluminum.
