A shared cache leakage energy management technique using dynamic cache partition method is provided to increase reduction effect of leakage energy consumption through cache decay. A modified decay counter(211) accumulates the time in which the cache line stays according to each task to the sleep state. The cache sleep time prediction model(221) calculates the expected cache line sleep time increment according to the cache way allocation. The cache replacement apparatus(212) distributes the cache way with reference to the table in each task.
