PURPOSE: A method for regulation NMTR(nonsense-mediated translational repression) by NMTR inhibitor or eIF4AIII is provided to effectively perform quantitation of NMTR.;CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring NMTR(nonsense-mediated translational repression) efficiency comprises: a step of preparing NMRT reporter plasmid containing a reporter gene which operably binds with a target gene; a step of inhibiting NMD-related protein expression; and a step of measuring NMTR reporter protein expression. An NMRT inhibitor contains dominant-negative eIF4AIII with point mutant which threonine, glutamine and leucine are substituted to arginine, valine, and alanine, respectively.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
