摘要

PURPOSE: Aramid tire cord and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent tire breaking due to expansion of steel in high speed traveling, and to improve fuel efficiency.;CONSTITUTION: Aramid tire cord includes multifilament. The deep strength of the tire cord is 10~23 g/d. The elongation at break of the tire cord is ~6 %. The middle elongation at break measured under the load of 6.75kg is 0.3~0.5%. The total fineness of the aramid tire cord is 800~10,000 denier. The aramid multifilament is poly(para- phenyleneterephtalamide). The strength of the aramid multifilament is 20~25 g/d.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
