PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for polymerizing polymer impregnated concrete using microwave are provided to minimize the amount of initiator used to a level of 1wt%.;CONSTITUTION: A method for polymerizing polymer impregnated concrete using microwave comprises the following steps of: putting monomer impregnated concrete specimen into a reactor; filling the reactor with nitrogen gas to raise inner pressure of the reactor; rotating a rotary plate positioned at the bottom of the reactor so as to rotate the reactor; and operating a magnetron to emit microwave.
