Reduce the occurrence of tar-like by-product and, yet develops a manufacturing method and apparatus of carbon nanostructure to produce a carbon nanostructure with high efficiency. Raw material atomizing efficiency of carbon nano structure production device (2) according to the present invention place the catalyst support (12) within the reaction tube 4, and the generation of the catalyst in the vicinity of 12 carbon nanostructure 14 forming a heating device (6) which is heated to a temperature region, to form a raw material gas supply pipe 8 for introducing the raw material gas into the reaction tube (4) access to the feeding tube distal end (8a) in the catalyst body 12 arrangement and is also constructed from the raw material gas to a temperature region which does not generate the tar-like product as a pre-heating device (9) for preheating the raw material gas supply pipe (8). Without the material gas supply tube inside the tar-like material is not generated, because the spraying at once go beyond the catalyst raw material gas to a medium temperature, the reaction probability is increased, leading to an increase in yield of carbon nano structure. Since most of the raw material gas is consumed, also it does not create a tar-like substance into the reaction tube 4.
