A method for making a space map and a tool thereof, and an automation system using the same are provided to make efficient movement and search possible by enabling the automation system to perform space recognition. A tool for making a space map comprises a drawing part(110) and a standard space data unit(130). The drawing part produces a design drawing based on object information about an object which is inputted from user. The standard space data unit produces standard space data corresponding to the design drawing which the drawing part produces.
