Yellow and/or red dye powder extracted from natural safflower is provided to ensure excellent reproducibility by controlling color and concentration through pulverizing a natural safflower dye and to dye fabric conveniently. Yellow and/or red dye powder extracted from natural safflower is obtained by using yellow pigment and red pigment powder extracted from natural safflower. A method for manufacturing the yellow dye powder from natural safflower comprises (100) a step for preparing the dried safflower; (110) a step for mixing the dried safflower with water and shaking the mixture to manufacture the yellow pigment extract once or many times; (120) a step for concentrating the yellow pigment extract under reduced pressure; (130) a step for freezing the concentrated yellow pigment extract; and (140) a step for forming the yellow dye powder by freeze-drying the yellow pigment extract.
