摘要
A method of protecting fine roots is provided to protect fine roots without root pruning in order to increase a root survival rate after tree planting, thereby minimizing the number of dead trees. A method of protecting fine roots comprises the following steps of: determining a digging area of roots 3~6 times as much as the rhizome of a tree(10) and coiling wires successively without the pruning of fine roots and protruded roots(12); chamfering the protruded roots; and applying disinfectant to the endosarc of chamfered roots and successively bending roots to be fixed near the chamfered roots. The disinfectant represents Vaseline. The front end of the protruded roots is coated with a mixture of rooting promoter and water. The rooting promoter consists of 100 parts of water, 0.123 part of potassium nitrate, 0.227 part of calcium nitrate, 0.186 part of magnesium sulfate, 0.123 part of monobasic potassium phosphate, 0.5 part of urea, 0.0005 part of pyridoxine, 0.0005 part of thiamin, 0.0005 part of niacin and 0.0005 part of riboflavin.
