A multipurpose carving machine movable to both directions is provided to maximize cutting efficiency by a maximum size cutting machine on one base plate. A multipurpose carving machine movable to both direction comprises a back and forth moving block(200), a left and right moving block(250) moving left and right and an elevating block(270), connected to the left and right moving block, moving up and down. The back and forth moving block is installed through each of moving unit on both sides longitudinally along the base plate. The back and forth moving block is connected to a control unit(400) in order to adjust a moving speed and a stroke. At least one more machining unit(300) is connected to the elevating block through the moving unit.
