Gene fragment for activation of DNA binding protein in calmodulin isoform 4 promoter

A gene fragment for expression of the DNA-binding protein within calmodulin isoform 4 promoter is provided to analyze the recognition method of plant biological and environmental stresses including pathogens and salt, and the signal change process to activate the transcription of GmCaM4 gene in response to these stresses. The Glycine max calmodulin isoform 4(GmCaM4) promoter is expressed in response to the stimulation of pathogens. The gene fragment carries 20-30 of the nucleotides for the expression of the DNA-binding protein within the calmodulin isoform 4 promoter, and two or more of the ATTA motif, wherein the nucleotide is mainly consisting of A/T.
