A guide rail construction method of automated guide rail transit type light weight railway and a construction machine for the same are provided to reduce construction cost and time by mounting a guide rail in the insertion part of a guide plate and coupling a fixation plate and the guide rail. A guide rail construction method of automated guide rail transit type light weight railway comprises following steps. The central line of a roadbed is measured. The rotary shaft of a guide plate is positioned at the intersection point of the roadbed central line and the upper side of the railway rail. The angle of the guide plate is controlled by measuring the locus of the guide rail based on the rotary shaft. A hole for fixing an anchor bolt is punched at a vertical wall according to the angle of a guide plate. The anchor bolt is fixed to the hole. A fixation plate is fixed on the anchor bolt. The guide rail fitting for the section is mounted on the insertion part of the guide plate. The fixation plate and the guide rail are coupled.
