The present invention is for the production of medium and large pressure vessels using a thick plate material having a relatively thick thickness. A fluid forming process is used for the production of pressure vessels, and a tubular welded preform manufacturing process has been developed. Welded preforms are manufactured by roll bending or press bending of alloy steel thick plates and electron beam welding in the axial direction, and special heat treatment conditions for cold flow forming are applied. The prepared welded preform is mounted on a flow molding machine equipped with two or three rollers, and the pressure vessel of the final shape is formed by decreasing the radial thickness of the preform and increasing the axial length according to the rotation of the mandrel and roller.
