PHOTOCATALYST, SYNTHETIC METHOD AND ITS APPLICATION FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT

A photocatalyst, a manufacturing method thereof, and a method for processing wastewater using the same are provided to decompose contaminants in an anoxic condition, and to improve pollutant disassembly efficiency. A photocatlyst includes titanium dioxide and a surface treatment layer including a noble metal element and fluorine and formed on the titanium dioxide. A specific surface area of the titanium dioxide is 20m/g or greater. The noble metal element is selected from a group consisting of platinum, gold, palladium, ruthenium, silver, nickel and their mixture. The content of the noble metal element is 0.1 ~ 10 parts by weight based on titanium dioxide 100.0 parts by weight.
