FIELD: physics; measurement.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measuring anode voltage across an X-ray tube and intrinsic total filtration of an X-ray emitter. For a single picture, i.e. at constant anode voltage value, X-ray radiation is passed through a stage filter. Radiation intensity outside the filter and under each filter stage is recorded using a position-sensitive detector and from the obtained discrete data, the value of anode voltage across the X-ray tube and the intrinsic total filtration of the X-ray emitter are determined. From the obtained discrete data, the following can be determined: effective energy Eef1 of the beam, subject to emitter filtration only, and effective energy Eef2 of the beam, subject to emitter filtration and given thickness d of the stage filter. By solving a system of equations the value of anode voltage Ua and the intrinsic total filtration dΣ of the X-ray emitter are found.;EFFECT: increased accuracy and easier measurement of anode voltage across an X-ray tube and intrinsic total filtration of the X-ray emitter.
