A method for producing a fluid coupling element of a torque converter, comprising:Forming a plurality of hollow tubes having first and second ends; and connecting the tubes to each other side by side in an annular arrangement, so that fluid through each tube from the first end to the second end can be conveyed, as a result of which the fluid coupling element is created.
