The method involves capturing a three dimensional volume image of a heart area and representing a two dimensional angiogram of the heart area. Registration of the two dimensional angiogram is accomplished with the three dimensional volume image. A superimposed representation of the two dimensional angiogram is realized with the three dimensional volume image in a visualizing plane, particularly on a screen. An independent claim is also included for a medical device, particularly for examination and treatment device.
