The table has a solid base plate and a work plate that moves in two axes that stay perpendicularly on top of one another. Movement axles are represented by two rotors, where sliding bushings are arranged on the rotors in a movable manner. The sliding bushings are mounted in a central cross body, which couples the movement axles at right angles. An electric motor is provided in the cross body for the mechanical drive of the axles, where the motor drives a rotary spindle nut over a toothed belt. The spindle nut runs on a threaded spindle clamped fixedly parallel to guide shafts.
