The headlight has an optic unit (3) arranged before a LED-diode (1) in a light radiation direction (2) for producing predetermined light distribution. The optic unit and the diode are arranged relative to each other in a fixed relative position such that light technical parameters are processed above a preset temperature range within preset threshold bands for a process of a light-and-dark-border of the light distribution. The parameters are determined by a numerical simulation of an illumination intensity function depending on a vertical angle of the light distribution.
