The piezoceramic composition is new. The piezoceramic composition of formula (I), is new. Pb 1 - aRE bAE cAL d[Zr xTi y(Sc sW) z]O 3(I) RE : rare-earth metal with a rare-earth metal part of b; AE : alkaline earth metal with an alkaline earth metal part of c; AL : alkali metal with an alkali metal portion of d; a : not 1; b : 0-0.4; c : 0-0.5; d : 0-0.5; s : not less than 0; x : not less than 0; y : not less than 0; z : not less than 0; and x+y+z : 1. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a piezoceramic component, which involves utilizing piezoceramic composition with piezoceramic material, and a green body is supplied with the piezoceramic composition.
