The method for producing lead-free piezoceramic material having perovskite phase with a composition of (K 0 . 5Nb 0 . 5)O 3, where K is potassium, Nb is niobium and O is oxygen, comprises thermally treating a mixture with two perovskite starting materials of the perovskite phase, which are different from each other, and producing a piezoceramic component with the piezoceramic material through thermally treating the mixture by thermal treatment of the green compact. The perovskite phase is used with dopant. The material has a molar lead portion of 0.01 mol.%. The method for producing lead-free piezoceramic material having perovskite phase with a composition of (K 0 . 5Nb 0 . 5)O 3, where K is potassium, Nb is niobium and O is oxygen, comprises thermally treating a mixture with two perovskite starting materials of the perovskite phase, which are different from each other, and producing a piezoceramic component with the piezoceramic material through thermally treating the mixture by thermal treatment of the green compact. The perovskite phase is used with dopant. The material has a molar lead portion of 0.01 mol.%. The piezoceramic component comprises a piezoelement (10), which has an electrode layer (11) with electrode material, a further electrode layer (12) with further electrode material and a piezoceramic layer (13) arranged between the electrode layers with the piezoceramic material, and consists of piezoceramic bending transducer, piezoceramic multilayer actuator, piezoceramic transformer, piezoceramic motor and piezoceramic ultrasonic transducer.
