Liquifying a hydrocarbon-rich fraction, comprises: (a) removing unwanted components like acid gas, water and/or mercury from the hydrocarbon-rich fraction; (b) liquifying the pretreated hydrocarbon-rich fraction by using at least a mixture cycle; (c) separating the liquified hydrocarbon-rich fraction to a methane-rich liquid fraction and a fuel gas fraction containing nitrogen and methane, (d) generating steam by using fuel gas fraction, where the steam is used in at least a condensation-steam turbine, and the coagulant of the mixture cycle is activated by the condensation-steam turbine.
