The arrangement (10) has a bumper (14) with a passage region (18) for arrival of cooling air into an internal region of a motor vehicle i.e. passenger car. A component section (20) of a license plate adapter (12) is moved between a position that releases predominantly the passage region, and another position covering the passage region to a large extent in a sliding-guided manner by a sliding guide. The component section is arranged in an angular manner opposite to a base body in the former position and/or arranged essentially parallel to the base body in the latter position.
