The invention is based on a method and a control system component for taking into account the road excitation for a vehicle and has the object to provide a method and / or a component for a control system for controlling the vehicle movements, which assesses both stochastic and individual events and thus in the regulation of vehicle movements, it is possible to take into account such quantities for the purpose of improving the comfort and safety of the vehicle. The problem is solved by taking into account both the stochastic composition and individual events of the road. In contrast to the prior art not only stochastic but also individual events with regard to the regulation of the vehicle movements are taken into account. These variables can not only be applied in the form of a control amplifying or debilitating factor, but also be supplied in an appropriate composition of the scheme and thus ensure a meaningful treatment of these variables by the regulatory system.
