The method for producing multi-component plastic molded parts by a rotary table technique or an index plate technique, comprises rotating stations by a rotary table (7) or an index plate, producing a pre-mold from a first component in a first station, and subjecting a further component to the pre-mold in one of two subsequent stations in an alternating manner while simultaneously pretreating an empty cavity or an empty half-mold in the other subsequent station. Release agent, in-mold-coating-lacquer and insert part are subjected in the empty cavity or the empty half-mold as pretreatment. The method for producing multi-component plastic molded parts by a rotary table technique or an index plate technique, comprises rotating stations by a rotary table (7) or an index plate, producing a pre-mold from a first component in a first station, and subjecting a further component to the pre-mold in one of two subsequent stations in an alternating manner while simultaneously pretreating an empty cavity or an empty half-mold in the other subsequent station. Release agent, in-mold-coating-lacquer and insert part are subjected in the empty cavity or the empty half-mold as pretreatment. Polyurethane material is used as further component. An injection molding station for the first station and a polyurethane molding station for the both subsequent stations are used on one of the mold clamping plates (6) of an injection molding machine (30) and two injection molding stations and a pretreatment mechanism are used on the other mold clamping plate. The molding stations on one of the molding clamping plates are successively brought together with the molding station of the other molding clamping plate by the rotary table and the pre-molds are successively converted into the polyurethane molding station by the index plate, so that a mold for producing pre-molds and a mold for introducing polyurethane materials are formed while one of the polyurethane molding stations releases for pretreatment. An independent claim is included for a device for producing multi-component plastic molded parts by a rotary table technology or an index plate technology.
