Energy saving method for object e.g. door, opening device, involves switching on output driver for given period, and switching off output driver after expiration of given period by microcontroller to save energy

The method involves detecting an operation of switching elements of an operating unit (3) by an input detecting unit and a detection controller. An output driver for a corresponding moving direction of a drive unit (4) e.g. drive motor, is switched on for a given period by a microcontroller. The given period is changed to a value equal to zero when one of the switching elements is a push-button and the other switching elements are operated opposite to the moving direction. The output driver is switched off after the expiration of the given period by the microcontroller for saving energy. An independent claim is also included for a device for adjusting a moving object in a building area.
