The detector has a set of homogeneous detector elements (17), where each detector element is divided into a set of pixel areas (26a, 26b, 26c). A set of filters (28, 30) is attached to the different pixel areas of the elements, which permit a defined spectral region of power spectrum of X-ray. The pixel areas are arranged in a lamellar manner side by side in a defined series sequence. Absorber material is directly attached at a surface of the pixel areas in a fixed manner. A measuring device (20) is attached at each pixel areas for performing quantitative detection of the X-ray. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an X-ray device such as a computer tomography device, comprising an X-ray detector (2) a method for detecting X-ray.
