The work machine (1) has multiple working chambers (22) with cyclically changing volumes, where the working chambers receive a pressurizing medium in a suction side (30), guide the pressurizing medium through a pre-compression region (34) and deliver the pressurizing medium compressed in a pressurizing side (32) to a system. A pressure discharge device (36) subjects the working chambers with system pressure in the pre-compression region. The pressure discharge device is mounted in control discs or a housing (10).
