The system (1) has a transmitting unit (5) provided to a sensor (3) for coupling data of an energy consumer/energy producer (2) by an electric conductive connection (4) between the energy consumer/energy producer and a central evaluation unit (6). A receiver unit (10) is provided to the electrically conductive connection for decoupling the data transmitted by the electrical field. An interface (7) is provided at the central evaluation unit for transmission of the data of the energy consumer/energy producer to a selection unit (11). An independent claim is also included for a method for detection of data of energy consumers and/or energy producers within a building unit.
