The device (1) has pole plate structures (2, 3) partly limited to an air gap (4), and a meandering diaphragm (5) arranged or arrangeable in the air gap, where a magnetic field is leadable into the air gap by the pole plate structures and magnet elements (6, 7). The magnet elements are arranged between the pole plate structures for the production of the magnetic field. One of the pole plate structures has a set of sound passage openings. The magnet elements are arranged outside of a plane defined by the air gap. An independent claim is also included for a loudspeaker arrangement comprising an air motion transformer-loudspeaker unit and two cone loudspeaker units.
