The wheel (2) has a toothed rim (5) and storage areas (15, 16) provided in a metallic base body (4), where the storage areas are formed by a punching process. The storage areas are arranged in a cylinder mantel shape, where the storage areas are represented in a radially outward manner. The storage areas are formed at punching stages (10, 11) with different diameters (14, 17), respectively, where the diameter (17) is smaller than the diameter (14). The storage areas are provided on a side (7) of the base body.
