The pillow (10) has a main chamber (20) accommodating a filling material that is made of free-flowing material. An auxiliary chamber (30B) is communicated with the main chamber. A separation mechanism (40B) is arranged between the chambers to reduce exchange of the material between the chambers. The mechanisms have cords (60A, 60B) and cord stoppers (80A, 80B) to minimize an opening between the chambers by tightening the cords. The cords and the stoppers have a determining mechanism determining an opening length of the cords, which defines a size of the opening between the chambers. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting a shape of a pillow.
