The method involves detecting a temporal characteristic of acceleration and a turning rate of a body part i.e. foot (10), of a dancer using a sensor (12). The detected temporal characteristic of the acceleration and turning rate of the body part are compared with a given target characteristic of acceleration and turning rate of the body part, where the temporal characteristic of the acceleration and turning rate of the body part is stored in the given target characteristic of acceleration and turning rate, which is synchronous to used music.
