The system has a high pressure fuel pipe (10) whose ends are connected to a pump device or accumulator system or to an injector or accumulator system by a connecting piece (11), respectively. The pipe connects the pump with the accumulator system or the accumulator system with the injector. A sealing element (18) is positioned between a casing (15) of the pipe and connecting piece, and another sealing element (22) is positioned between the casing and clamping screw (19). The screw radially surrounds the casing and is screwed with the connecting piece.
