The case has circular base projections (9) provided as stacking aid under a base of a bottle box, where the projections engage with similar shaped cases to control lateral shifting of cases against each other. Lobes are attached at a top corner of the case in two opposite lying edges for transverse stacking of cases in a storey of cases. The lobes engage with recesses (10, 11) of the circular base projections formed at the base during stacking in such a way that two recesses are provided in the side turned towards the center of the case.
