The carrier has a holder closure with upper cover elements (1, 6) and a base element (4), each having receiving openings (16, 19, 20) for receiving bottle necks and/or the holder closure. Each opening has positioning sections (17, 18, 21-24) that stay in contact with upright-standing bars of closing holders, when inserting bottles. The opening (20) has retaining plates (29) over a predefined section, where the plates engage under a semi-circular connecting bar of the closure and presses the neck against an opposite edge of the opening. A tear flap (31) extends over the positioning sections.
