The piston (60) has a piston section (64) for receiving force, and a tubular piston section (66) for transmitting force. A third piston section (68) is attached to the piston section (66) for compression of a friction lamella of a friction clutch (2). Radial protruding multiple supporting units (92) are provided at the piston section (66) in a circumferential direction at a distance from each other. The piston section (66) is supported in a radial direction at a coupling part i.e. outer lamella carrier (18), via the supporting units designed as a plastic part, rubber part and sheet metal part. The supporting element has a carrier part made of plastic or sheet metal. The supporting element is designed in type of a clip. An independent claim is also included for a friction clutch comprising a seal.
