The dual clutch (1) has clutch housing having outer input slat carriers over which the clutch housing is connected with two transmission input shafts. The piston cylinder units (14,15) of friction clutch units are arranged along axial and radial directions of the clutch housing in diameter range of the friction slats of single clutch units so that the operating force directions of piston cylinder units are toward a drive and a gear box. The operating forces interlocking portions are arranged in the diameter range of the friction slats of single clutch units.
